Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI)

The Steering Group has set up an Extranet with the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI).  The Extranet provides a secure environment for data entry and viewing results.  In addition the Extranet is a single point for all project resources and an efficient method for communication between the Steering Group and the teams.

The IHI Extranet is a key component of the Scottish Patient Safety Programme (SPSP). SNAP-CAP and SPSA are closely aligned. By participating in SNAP-CAP, Acute Medicine and Accident and Emergency teams can become familiar with the model for improvement and data collection methods central to SPSP.

Find out how to register with the SNAP-CAP Extranet. andrea.patton@nhs.net
